Hello and Welcome to A Touch of Glass.

I paint in water colour, pastel and acryllics and you will find some of my paintings within these pages.

I also hand engrave glass and crystal using a dentist type drill with diamond tipped bits. I surface engrave and also do intaglio engraving, which is deep carving into the surface of the glass to give a three dimensional effect.

You will notice that I engrave quite a lot of animals and I am often commissioned to engrave pet portraits. For these I ask that the client sends me several good quality photographs of the pet in question, preferably from slightly different angles, so that I can see the individual markings and carry out the best possible engraving on the piece of glass or crystal which the client has chosen.

I also get a lot of commissions for prizes and trophies for pet shows and agricultural shows and some of my works have found homes around the globe.

My designs can never be exactly replicated, as it is impossible to do so by hand. Where multiples of the exact same design are required, such as sets of glasses, for example, I can offer a sand blasting service, or a four-colour pad printing service for painted multiple sets.

As well as the online shop there is a gallery of some of my work, pieces which I have already hand engraved, with prices. These can be personalised by adding a name or other text.
